Osprey: Egg Incubation, Chick Rearing and Wild Fostering
Stephanie Ellis, Executive Director of Wild Care, will share the intensive work of wild fostering osprey chicks. The presentation will include a history of osprey on Cape Cod, coexisting with osprey, and the legalities of working with osprey nests, eggs and chicks. Ms. Ellis has a special affinity for birds and mice and has worked extensively in the fields of wildlife rehabilitation and avian conservation on both U.S. coasts. She loves dancing and enjoying Cape Cod's natural beauty.
