• The Winter Book sale has ended.

• There is a year-round mini-book sale on the main floor of the library across from the circulation desk.

The first BLLA book sale was for a single day in 1997 and was held out in the parking lot. Today, it is held indoors for more than four weeks in July and August, and it has proved to be such a popular event that it has become a year-round offering with the addition of Sunday hours in the winter months.

The sale offers thousands of books, discs, puzzles, sheet music, and historic publications. The sale continues to adapt to the times, and it continues to be a major attraction for book lovers both on and off the Cape. It is a way that you can support the library, either through the donation of materials or through your purchases of gently used items from a curated collection.
